Arman Ma'rufi, a Mahabad resident who was arrested during the Women, Life, Freedom movement, was recently apprehended and subsequently relocated to Mahabad prison to begin serving a two-year sentence. He is currently in his second month of incarceration.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Arman Ma'rufi was arrested and transported to the central prison in Mahabad during the middle of September 2023 to fulfill his two-year prison term.
