Loghman Pishiar, a resident of Bukan who was previously detained for two months, has now been sentenced to three years of imprisonment by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, 58-year-old Loghman Pishiar has received a three-year detention sentence on the charge of "membership and collaboration with the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI)."
It is noteworthy that he was deprived of his legal rights, including access to legal representation and the right to have a family visit.
Loghman Pishiar was arrested by security forces on August 10, 2023, along with another individual identified as Hasan Mardani (60 years old) in Bukan. He was subsequently released from the city's central prison on October 8, 2023, upon posting bail of 1 billion Iranian Toman pending the conclusion of his trial.
