Ruhollah Zohrevand, father of the late Milad Zohrevand, a young protester whose death sentence was discreetly carried out, has recently been relocated to Dizel Abad prison in Kermanshah. He was apprehended by the IRGC's intelligence department on the day of his son's burial.

According to a report obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Ruhollah Zohrevand, a family member seeking justice for their deceased children, was recently moved from Malayer prison in Hamedan province to Dizel Abad prison in Kermanshah.

Simultaneously with his son's funeral, Ruhollah Zohrevand and his wife, Afsana Zohrevand, were arrested by the Revolutionary Guards' intelligence department. Mrs. Zohrevand was released after a few hours.

Over the past 17 days since their son's death sentence was carried out, the Zohrevand family has faced intense pressure from the Revolutionary Guards, including threats for disseminating information about their situation.

In a previous report, Hengaw highlighted opposition to the transfer of Milad Zohrevand's body to his hometown. It was revealed that the Revolutionary Guards buried Milad Zohrevand in the section reserved for deceased individuals from thirty years ago in Bagh Behesht Cemetery in Hamedan. After installing surveillance cameras, they poured concrete on his grave.

Milad Zohrevand, a 21-year-old protester from Malayer, was executed at dawn on Thursday, November 23, 2023, in Hamedan Central Prison. The execution was conducted discreetly, and he had been sentenced to death for the alleged murder of a government force named Ali Nazari during the uprisings of the Women, Life, Freedom (Jin, Jiyan, Azadi) movement.
