The death sentence of Farzad Golmohammadi, a prisoner from Kamiyaran, who was arrested and sentenced to death 8 years ago on the charge of premeditated murder, was carried out in Sanandaj Central Prison.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, the death sentence of 32-year-old Farzad Golmohammadi from Palangan village, Kamiyaran was carried out in Sanandaj Central Prison.
On Monday, December 18, 2023, while announcing the transfer of this prisoner to solitary confinement, Hengaw warned about his execution.
Farzad Golmohammadi was arrested 8 years ago and later sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It should be mentioned that this prisoner was transferred to solitary confinement on December 9, 2023, to carry out the death sentence and returned to the general prison two days later.
So far, the news of the execution of Farzad Golmohammadi has not been announced in the Iranian state media, especially the media close to the judiciary.
