Government forces in Zahedan arrested three Baloch youths—Khaled Rudini, Mohammad Ali Rudini, and Abu Bakr Rudini—along with a child named Omran Rudini, taking them to an undisclosed location.
According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, January 6, 2024, a 16-year-old Baloch child named Omran Rudini, along with three other youths, Khalid Rudini (19), Mohammad Ali Rudini (20), and Abu Bakr Rudini (25), were arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Majidieh area of Zahedan.
As per Haalvsh news agency, the security forces used force, including opening fire, during the detention of these four Baloch individuals.
As of the time of reporting, precise information regarding the reasons for the arrest, charges, and the whereabouts of these four citizens is unavailable.
According to the statistics registered in the Statistics and Documentation Center of Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, since the beginning of this year, at least six Baloch individuals have been arrested by the security institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
