Three Individuals Detained in Bukan

Three residents of Bukan—Naser Alipour, Rebwar Kouhgard, and Aram Sabzi—have been apprehended and subsequently transported to an undisclosed location by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, during the early hours of Thursday, January 18, 2024, Naser Alipour from Dashband village in Bukan and Rebwar Kouhgard from Bukan were taken into custody by the forces of the intelligence department. Aram Sabzi, another resident of Bukan, was similarly detained in his private residence on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, and subsequently moved to an undisclosed location by the same forces.

Reliable sources indicate that these individuals were subjected to forceful arrests, and their electronic belongings were confiscated by the Intelligence Agency of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

As of now, there is no available information regarding the grounds for these arrests or the charges attributed to these individuals.
