Mine Explosion in Saravan: Three Individuals Dead and Two More Injuried

As a result of an explosion of the mines laid by the IRGC at the Sarvan border in Sistan and Baluchestan province, at least three Afghan citizens were killed, and two more individuals, including an 11-year-old child identified as Mobin Raisi, were severely damaged.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday evening, January 29, 2024, following the explosion of mines laid by the IRGC at the Kalagan border of Saravan, at least three Afghan citizens were instantly killed.

Also, two other individuals, including an 11-year-old child identified as Mobin Raisi from Saravan, were fatally injured and transported to medical centers. The identities of the other four citizens have not been verified yet.

According to the Baloch Activists Campaign, recently and without any prior notice, the IRGC has laid mines at the border lines of the Iran-Afghanistan border, where low-income individuals transport fuel and goods.
