The Iranian security forces arrested two Kurdish individuals from Dehgolan, identified as Zobier Hosein Panahi and Abbas Hosein Panahi, following their visit to the parental residence of the Kurdish executed political prisoner, Mohammad Faramarzi.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, Zobier Hosein Panahi (32 years old) and Abbas Hosein Panahi from Qeru Chay village of Dehgolan, Sanandaj province, were violently arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and relocated to an undisclosed location.
As reported by reliable sources, during these arrests, Zobier Hosein Panahi sustained injuries to his head. The sources have also reported that the personal belongings of these individuals were confiscated.
Hengaw was informed that, as a result of paying a visit to the parental residence of Mohammad Faramarzi, the executed Kurdish political prisoner, these two individuals were taken into custody.
