Detention of a 15-year-old teenager in Sardasht

Hengaw: A teenager from Sardasht was arrested by the security services of the Islamic Republic of Iran on charges of supporting a Kurdish opposition party.

According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, security forces arrested a 15-year-old boy in the city of Sardasht, identified as "Mohammad Fardani" from Mirabad, in the "Vazineh" section of the city.

According to the same source, the security forces detained the teenager without providing any judicial documents.
The source also added that security forces had arrested 15-year-old Mohammad Fardani on charges of supporting a Kurdish party.

As of this writing, there is no news about  fate of Mohammad.

According to statistics recorded by the Statistics and Documentation Center of Hengaw Human Rights Organization, at least 11 teenagers under the age of 18 have been arrested in various cities of Kurdistan by the security services of the Islamic Republic of Iran for collaborating with Kurdish opposition parties.
