A civil and environmental activist and a member of the charity campaign "Kurdistan Revival" in Sanandaj named Fardin Rahimi was arrested on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, after being summoned to the Enforcement of  Sentences of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court and was transferred to the Central Prison of this city to serve his five-month imprisonment sentence.
 

In May, seven members of the charity campaign "Kurdistan Revival" (Zhiyanawa Kurdistan) with the identities of Ali Allah-Waisi, Fardin Rahimi, Ata Reza-Robabi, Qaneh Khateri, Marzieh Moradveisi, Sirvan Abdullahi, and Mehdi Seifi were sentenced to prison on charges of "Cooperation with the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan" by Branch one of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Hossein Saeidi.
 

According to the verdict, Ata Reza-Robabi was sentenced to two years of suspended imprisonment, and six others each were sentenced to two years of imprisonment.
 

The mentioned sentence was changed for Fardin Rahimi to four years of suspended imprisonment, and according to the proclamation that was sent to him about two weeks ago, the sentence of five months imprisonment was added to his sentence of 4 years of suspended imprisonment.
 

The seven civil activists were arrested in May last year by the Sanandaj Intelligence Office forces and after some time, they were temporarily released on bail.
