Hengaw: After reporting the infecting of tens of prisoners held in Urmia Central Prison with the coronavirus that were transferred out of prison yesterday, a number of them were identified by Hengaw.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, in the morning on Monday (April 6), 50 prisoners held in Ward 15 of Urmia Central Prison were transferred to out-of-prison medical centers due to suspected of coronavirus. They have not been returned to prison yet.
The identities of 11 inmates that Hangaw sources mentioned they infected with corona virus, are as following:

According to an informed source from Urmia Prison, infecting of tens of prisoners with corona virus has caused a wave of concern among other prisoners in Urmia Prison.
About 450 prisoners are being held in Ward 15 of Urmia Central Prison, which is a special ward for inmates related to drug-related crimes.
According to the Hengaw Human Rights Organization's Statistics Center, three prisoners in Urmia Central Prison, one of them a woman, have died in the prison due to the coronavirus.
