Hengaw  – Iranian security forces recently arrested two Kurds in the provinces of Kurdistan and Kermanshah amid Tehran’s intensifying crackdown on individuals suspected of membership in or aiding parties in opposition of the Islamic Republic.

A local source on Monday told Hengaw agents from the Ministry of Intelligence arrested Wrya Khosrawi and transported him to an unknown location.

Khosrawi is from Hassanawa Village of Baneh County in Kurdistan Province. He has been detained suspected of assisting Rojhilati parties that oppose the Islamic Republic, the source added.

On Thursday, security officers arrested another youth who is from Kermashan by the name of Jamal Aliwaisy on allegations of affiliation with Rojhilati parties.
