Iranian police forces after injuring a citizen: “Be thankful we did not aim to shoot at your head”

Hengaw : A Kurdish citizen from Sanandaj was directly shot in the leg by Iranian police forces and was seriously injured.

According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on the evening of Thursday, June 3, 2021, police officers  from station 18 in the Naysar neighborhood of Sanandaj  assaulted and insulted the owner of a shop, which sparked the protests of citizens.

According to an informed source, a taxi driver with the identity of "Aram Ahmadi" who was protesting against the police forces was seriously injured by a direct shot from one of the police forces in the right leg and was taken to Kosar Hospital in Sanandaj.

The source, who did not want to be named for security reasons, said that after contacting the police, they came to Kosar Hospital and wrote their work report on a piece of cartoon and told Ahmad, "Go and thank God we didn’t shot you in head ."
