Kaveh Soleimanpour, a citizen from Khurkhura village in Mahabad, who was previously sentenced to six months in prison, was arrested on Sunday, July 24, 2022, after being summoned to the Judgment enforcement branch of the Mahabad court and transferred to the central prison of this city to serve his sentence.
 

According to a report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Kaveh Soleimanpour was recently sentenced by the Mahabad Revolutionary Court to 6 months of imprisonment on the charge of "cooperation with the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran", including the previous detention period.
 

Kaveh Soleimanpour was arrested on Saturday, August 1, 2021, by the Mahabad Intelligence forces, and after 70 days of detention, he was temporarily released on bail on Tuesday, October 12, until the end of the proceedings.
 

It should be noted that Kaveh Soleimanpour was deprived of the right to access a lawyer and family visits during his detention.
