Hengaw: A Kurdish citizen from Piranshahr district of West Azerbaijan (Urmia) province who was recently sentenced to imprisonment by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been  arrested.

According to a report received by Hengaw  Human Rights Organization, on Monday, February 22, 2021, a Kurdish citizen from the village of "Kawpar " in Piranshahr, identified as "Mohammad Mangoor Kurdistani", was arrested to serve his sentence.

According to an informed source, this Kurdish citizen was transferred to Naghadeh Central Prison after his arrest and is currently serving a three-month sentence.

Mohammad Mangoor Kurdistani was sentenced by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court of Piranshahr to three months in prison on Monday, January 18, 2021, for supporting the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
