 Hengaw: Iranian Security forces have detained  a female Kurdish activist in Sanandaj and transferred her to an unknown location.


 According to a report received by Hengaw  Human Rights Organization, on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, Iranian Intelligence forces raided the house of Ms. Roya Jalali, a Kurdish female activist, and detained  her.
 As of preparation of this report , the reason of  detention and  her whereabouts are unknown unknown, and her family's efforts to find out her fate have been fruitless.

 Roya Jalali is a mother of two and suffers from MS, and this has become a source of concern for her family.

 She is the wife of Khabat Mafakheri, an environmental activist in Sanandaj, who was temporarily released on bail on Thursday, January 7, 2020, after four months in detention.
