The arrest of two civil activists in Sanandaj to serve their sentences

Two civil activists and members of the charity campaign "Kurdistan Revival" in Sanandaj called Ali Allah-Veisi and Marizieh Moradveisi were arrested after being summoned to the Enforcement of the Sentences of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court and were transferred to the Central Prison of this city to serve their five-month imprisonment sentence.
According to the report received y Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Marzieh Moradveisi was arrested on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, and Ali Allah-Veisi was arrested yesterday.
Fardin Rahimi, another member of this campaign, was arrested on Tuesday last week, August 23, after being summoned to the Enforcement of the Sentences of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court and was transferred to the central prison of this city.
In May, seven members of the charity campaign "Kurdistan Revival" (Zhiyanawa Kurdistan) identified as Ali Allah-Veisi, Fardin Rahimi, Ata Reza-Robabi, Qaneh Khateri, Marzieh Moradveisi, Sirvan Abdollahi, and Mehdi Seifi were sentenced to prison on charges of "Cooperation with the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan" and "Forming an illegal group" by Branch one of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Hossein Saeidi.
According to the verdict, Ata Reza-Robabi was sentenced to two years of suspended imprisonment, and six others each were sentenced to two years of imprisonment.
The verdict changed to 4 years of suspended imprisonment for each Ali Allah-Veisi, Marzieh Moradveisi, Sirvan Abdollahi, Mehdi Seifi, and Fardin Rahimi by branch 4 of the provincial appeals court, and the court notice was sent to them two weeks ago. 5 months of imprisonment was added to their 4-year suspended imprisonment.
The seven civil activists were arrested in May by the Sanandaj Intelligence forces and after some time, they were temporarily released on bail.
