A 61-year-old woman from Bukan, identified as Narmin Ahmadabadi, was arrested by the city's intelligence service forces and transferred to the women's ward of Urmia Central Prison after interrogations.
According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Narmin Ahmadabadi was arrested by Bukan's intelligence service in late March and transferred to the security agency's detention center in Urmia.
Narmin Ahmadabadi was transferred to the women's ward of Urmia Central Prison after the recent interrogation and is currently being held in this prison.
It has been reported that Narmin Ahmadabadi has been accused by security agencies of "collaborating with a Kurdish opposition party of the government".
