Hengaw: after dying of 11 other citizens, the death toll of coronavirus in Kurdistan has increased to 159.

According to registered statistics at Hengaw Statistics Center, during the last 24 hours, at least 11 other citizens lost their lives in the cities of Kamyaran (2 cases), Qorve (1 case), Bijar (1 case), Mehran (1 case), Ivan Gharb (1 cases) ), Urmiyeh (2 cases), Bukan (1 case), Kermanshah (1 case), Sonqur (1 case) have died due to corona disease. Among these victims,  two of them in Mehran and Kamyaran were women.

 

Due to a lack of a reliable and formal network broadcasting system, HANGAW Human Rights Organization, provides the latest statistics and information from reliable sources, announcing the death toll from the outbreak of the Corona virus in Kurdistan as follows. It is worth noticing that Hangaw regularly updates the latest relevant statistics to the public.

According to Hengaw statistics over the last two weeks, at least 159 civilian deaths due to the coronavirus have been registered in Kurdistan, including 44 women and 115 men.

Breakdown based on provinces Ilam Province: 17 cases (4 females and 13 males) Kermanshah Province: 43 cases (13 females and 30 males) Kurdistan Province (Sanandaj): 68 cases (19 females and 49 males)  Azerbaijane Gharbi Province (Urmiyeh): 31 cases (8 females and 23 males)

These statistics were recorded by Hengaw, while the government's media only officially announced 72 victims. According to government statistics, there are 25 cases in Kurdistan province, 23 cases in Azarbaijane Gharbi province, 15 cases in Kermanshah province and 9 in Ilam province.

 

The cities of Saqez and Kermanshah had the highest number of deaths due to coronavirus, with 42 and 20 deaths respectively, and the rest were in the cities of Ilam (13), Malekshahi (1), Sarpol Zahab (5 ), Sonqur (6 ), Sanandaj (11 ), Marivan (2), Miandoab (3), Piranshahr (3), Urmiyeh (12), Dalahua (1), Kangavar (3), Ghorve (4) , Baneh (4), Oshnaviyeh (1), Chaypareh (1), Bukan (4), Gilan Gharb (6), Naqadeh (1), Khoi (4), Shahin Dezh (1) , Rabat (1), Bijar (2), Gilan Gharb (2), Paveh (2), Kamyaran (2), Tekab (2), Ivan Gharb (1) and Mehran (1) is recorded.
