Hengaw: Since the arrest of female Kurdish activist Kajal Nasri two weeks ago, no information has been released about her fate and whereabouts.

According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, despite the fact that two weeks have passed since the arrest of 26-year-old Kajal Nasri, a resident of Tangisar village in Sanandaj, Kurdistan province, no information is available about her fate and whereabouts.

According to an informed source, Kajal Nasri's father referred to the Sanandaj Intelligence Office several times during the past two weeks and has not yet been able to meet or call his daughter. The ongoing follow-up by the Kurdish activist's family has been fruitless.

Kajal Nasri, a human rights activist living in the village of Tangisar in Sanandaj city was arrested by the intelligence service on Sunday, December 12, 2021, without presenting any warrants. 

It is worth mentioning that this spring, Kajal Nasri was summoned to the Sanandaj Intelligence Office and interrogated for several hours.
