Prisoner executed in secrecy in Gonbad-e Kavus Central Prison

Soleiman Vaziri, a 30-year-old Baloch prisoner, from Minudasht in Golestan Province, was secretly executed in Gonbad-e Kavus Central Prison on charges of premeditated murder.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Vaziri from the village of Bazgir near Minudasht, was executed on the morning of Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
Soleiman Vaziri, originally from Zabol, was convicted and sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran several years ago.
A reliable source confirmed that the execution was carried out in secrecy, with neither Vaziri’s family nor his legal representatives informed beforehand.
As of this report, the execution has not been disclosed by state media or judiciary-affiliated outlets.
