Hengaw’s earlier report had noted the execution of one man and two women. With the identification of 60-year-old Abdolvahab Babakhaniyan, the number of executed prisoners has risen to four.

These four prisoners had previously been sentenced to death in separate cases by the judiciary for charges of premeditated murder. Aliyeh Kavari-Zadeh, aged 60, had been sentenced to death for the murder of her husband.

As of the time this report was prepared, news of these executions has not been announced by state-run media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
