Five prisoners, including one woman, executed across prisons in Iran

Five prisoners, including a woman, have been executed in the prisons of Isfahan, Yazd, Birjand, Malayer, and Bojnurd. They had been sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran on charges of “premeditated murder” and “drug-related offences.”

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Amir Goudarzi, a Lor prisoner, was executed at Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd) at dawn on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Goudarzi had been arrested on drug-related charges and later sentenced to death.

Kobra Rezaei, a female prisoner convicted on drug-related charges, was executed the same morning at Yazd Central Prison.

Nourahmad Azizi was executed at Birjand Prison in South Khorasan Province on Monday, November 3, after being sentenced to death on drug-related charges.

Mohammad-Ali Golmohammadi was executed on Sunday, November 2, at Malayer Prison in Hamadan Province. Golmohammadi had also been convicted on drug-related charges.

Hashem Mardani, a Kurdish prisoner sentenced to death on a murder charge, was executed at Bojnurd Prison in North Khorasan Province on Saturday, November 1.

State media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary, have not reported these executions.
