Security forces arrest two Kurds in Bukan

Security forces in Bukan arrest two Kurdish men, Hemin Bahrami and Soran Arshad, both residents of the city. They have been transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at 3 a.m. on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, Hemin Bahrami, 36, and Soran Arshad, both fathers of two children and residents of the village of Gololan Olya, a suburb of Bukan, were detained by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence.
A source familiar with the incident stated that the security forces intimidated the families and raided their homes without presenting a search warrant before arresting the two individuals.
As of the time of this report, no details regarding the reasons for their arrests or the charges against Hemin Bahrami and Soran Arshad have been made available.
