Four Kurds arrested in Oshnavieh

Four Kurdish men from Oshnavieh, identified as Morad Abdollah-Omari, Nurradin Mola-Alizadeh, Tofigh Amini, and Mohammad Behroozi, have been arrested by the IRGC intelligence forces.
According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the early hours of Thursday, December 26, 2024, intelligence forces of the IRGC stormed the village of “Haq” in Oshnavieh and arrested at least three individuals: Morad Abdollah-Omari, Nurradin Mola-Alizadeh, and Tofigh Amini.
Simultaneously, these forces also arrested another individual, Mohammad Behroozi, in the Amirabad district of Oshnavieh.
Sources informed Hengaw that the IRGC forces carried out these arrests with no judicial warrants, raiding the homes of these people and employing violence during the process. The detainees have reportedly been transferred to an undisclosed security detention center in Urmia.
So far, no detailed information has been made available about the reasons for the arrests, the charges against them, or their current status.
