Three prisoners executed in Zanjan Central Prison

The death sentences of three prisoners, identified as Mostafa Shakeri, Khosrow Khodadadi, and Karim Bahmani, who had previously been convicted on drug-related charges, were carried out in Zanjan Central Prison.
According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Thursday, January 2, 2025, the Mostafa Shakeri, 50 years old, an Arab individual from Bushehr, and Khosrow Khodadadi, 43 years old, from Sari, were executed in Zanjan Central Prison.
Prior to that, at dawn on Sunday, December 29, 2024, the death sentence of Karim Bahmani, 37 years old, a Turk man from Tabriz, was carried out in the same prison.
According to Iran Human Rights, Mostafa Shakeri and Karim Bahmani had been arrested three years ago, and Khosrow Khodadadi had been arrested two years and eight months ago, all on drug-related charges, ultimately resulting in death sentences.
As of the time of this report, the executions of these prisoners have not been announced by state-affiliated media, including outlets close to the judiciary.
