The death sentence of an Afghan individual identified as Eslam Aman Aldini was carried out in Qom central prison. This individual was convicted of capital punishment under a homicide charge.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, the death sentence of 29-year-old Eslam Aman Aldini from Kunduz was carried out in the Qom central prison.

Citing the IHR (Iran Human Rights), Eslam Aman Aldini was apprehended regarding a murder case in his workplace and subsequently sentenced to capital punishment by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

As of now, there has not been any news coverage on this execution, particularly by government media outlets and those that are affiliated with the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Based on the information collected by the Statistics and Documentation Center of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, during the year 2023, at least 28 Afghan individuals have faced capital punishment verdicts in Islamic Republic of Iran prisons.
