Two Kurdish Kolbars met untimely deaths in separate incidents

Two Kurdish Kolbars met untimely deaths in separate incidents along the borders of Baneh and Nowsud. Soran Abdi, a 22-year-old Kolbar, succumbed to injuries inflicted by direct gunfire from Iranian border guards in Baneh, Sanandaj province, while Mohammad Bayer Mohammadi, a Kolbar from Javanroud,  passed away from a heart attack on the borders of Nowsud, Kermanshah province.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on Sunday, March 24, 2024, Soran Abdi, hailing from Baneh, sustained critical injuries near the Hangazhall border of Baneh after being fired upon by Iranian border guards. Despite immediate efforts to transport him to medical facilities, he succumbed to his injuries.

An informed source revealed that Soran Abdi, who was married, left behind his pregnant wife.

Simultaneously, Mohammad Bayer Mohammadi, a 48-year-old resident of the village of Ziran in Javanroud, Kermanshah province, suffered a fatal cardiac arrest while transporting goods along the Nowsud border.

It is noteworthy that on Friday, 15-year-old Milad Mohammadi, the son of Mohammad Bayer Mohammadi, fell from a height while working on the Nowsud border. Milad Mohammadi is currently receiving medical treatment for his injuries.
