As a result of a landmine explosion at the Sardasht border (west Azerbaijan province, Urmia), at least two Kolbars identified as Raouf Ahmadi and Jabbar Ahmadzadeh have been severely injured.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at least two Kolbars identified as Raouf Ahmadi (39 years old) from "Zoraneh" village and Jabbar Ahmadzadeh (28 years old) from "Kaneh Mashkeh" village were severely injured due to a landmine explosion in the mountainous border heights of "Balfat" near the city of Sardasht.

Sources indicate that Raouf Ahmadi underwent leg amputation as a result of the explosion, while Jabbar Ahmadzadeh sustained other injuries. Both individuals have been transferred to medical centers for treatment.
