As a result of the explosion of land mines leftover from the 8-year war between Iran and Iraq on the border of Qasr-e Shirin in Kermanshah province, a shepherd by the name of Farshid Xosrawi from Sanjabi in Qasr-e Shirin lost his life.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, Farshid Xosrawi, a member of the Khan Lili tribe of Qasr-e Shirin, lost his life instantly during cattle grazing when a landmine detonated.


Morad Babakhani, the political and social deputy of the Qasreshirin governorate, also confirmed this incident of the loss of life of one of the tribesmen due to the land mine explosion but did not provide any details about his identity.
