Iranian authorities arrested three Kurdish Individuals

Omar Hosseini, 29 years old, his brother Ali Hosseini, 25 years old, along with another individual named Omid Shahdad, 36 years old, were detained by the forces of the Intelligence Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to a report received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, in the early hours of Thursday, April 18, 2024, the three individuals, who are from Deyvaznav village in Sarvabad, Kurdistan (Sanandaj) Province,were detained by intelligence forces and transferred to an undisclosed detention facility.

A source familiar with the incident stated that the security forces raided the residences of these three individuals. They were brutally assaulted and arrested, using excessive force and intimidation.

At the time of preparing this report, no information regarding the reasons for the arrest, the charges brought against these three individuals, their whereabouts, or their custodial status is available.
