Fatal Shooting Incident: Three Kolbars Killed or Injured by Iranian Forces

At the Baneh border in the Sanandaj province, Iranian border regiment forces opened fire on a group of kolbars, resulting in the death of one, identified as Shvaneh Ahmadpour, and injuries to two others.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, April 21, 2024, border regiment forces stationed at the "Beleh Keh" border from the districts of Baneh opened fire at some kolbars, resulting in the death of one individual and injuring two others.

Hengaw has learned that during these shootings, a 34-year-old kolbar identified as Shvaneh Ahmadpour lost his life, and two other kolbars were injured, whose identities are currently being investigated.

Shvaneh Ahmadpour's body, who was married and the father of a child, has been transferred to medical centers in the city of Sulaymaniyah, in the Kurdistan region.
