Turkey’s armed forces kill Kurdish kolbar on the Maku border

Hussein Dolatkhah, a Kurdish kolbar from Maku, was killed by direct fire from Turkey’s armed forces along the Maku border. His 18-year-old brother, Vahid Dolatkhah, had been killed three years earlier while working as a kolbar by direct fire from the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Dolatkhah, a father of three and a resident of Yarmagh (Yarim Qiye) village in Maku, was shot dead by Turkey’s armed forces while working as a kolbar in the Maku border area and still inside Iranian territory on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
Hengaw’s sources reported that Dolatkhah was struck by direct fire from Turkey’s armed forces while he was still on Iranian soil.
Dolatkhah’s body, which had been transferred to Fajr Hospital in Maku the previous day, was buried on Wednesday in his home village.
Iranian authorities have so far issued no response to the killing of this young kolbar inside Iranian territory by Turkey’s armed forces.
Vahid Dolatkhah, the 18-year-old brother of Hussein, was previously shot by Iran’s armed forces on the Maku border and died at Fajr Hospital in Maku due to the severity of his injuries on August 22, 2022.
