Uncertainty Looms Over Families of 14 Kurdish Detainees from Oshnavieh Nawroz Celebrations

Ten days have passed since the arrest of 14 individuals from Oshnavieh, West Azerbaijan (Urmia) province, for their involvement in New Year's Eve festivities, yet their whereabouts remain undisclosed, leaving their families in distress.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, there is no information available regarding the fate of the detained individuals: Yousef Haji-Khoshi, Salah Qazi, Hessamoddin Mahmoudi, Mohammad Soltanpour, Ghafoor Sheikh-Mohammadi, Jafar Rasooli, Hassan Rasooli, Moloud Rosta, Hadi Laweh, Ako Ebrahimi, Rahim Rafati, Omid Rashidpak, Fakhroddin Modarresi, and Arman Ebrahimi. These individuals were apprehended in their homes by intelligence forces of the Revolutionary Guards late last week, and their current locations remain unknown.
Hengaw has learned that the families of the detainees sought information from the Urmia and Oshnavieh Intelligence Departments last week, yet they were not provided with any definitive answers.
In a prior report by Hengaw, it was stated that these fourteen Kurds were arrested between Tuesday and Thursday (April 30 to May 2) by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps intelligence forces, allegedly for their participation in Kurdish New Year's celebrations.
