Norway: A Brief Report on the Informational Praxis of Hengaw Members

A number of Hengaw Organization for Human Rights members and supporting volunteers gathered in front of the Norwegian Parliament to explain the activities of this organization and elucidate the current situation of civil rights activists in Iran.

According to the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, May 25, 2024, in a praxis for human rights, Hengaw members, accompanied by several volunteers, outlined the history, objectives, and vision of the organization for the citizens in front of the Norwegian Parliament building in Oslo. This event started at 11:00 a.m. and concluded at 5:00 p.m.

In another part of this event, participants addressed the widespread human rights violations by the Islamic Republic of Iran. They distributed brochures detailing human rights violations in Iran during 2023 and 2024. Additionally, images of political prisoners sentenced to death were displayed.

Moreover, at this gathering, the human rights advocates called on Norwegians and non-governmental organizations to support the persistent efforts of activists and civil society in Iran.
