Baloch Man Arrested in Chabahar by Iranian Government Forces: Fate Remains Unknown

Approximately three months ago, Iranian government forces arrested Shoaib Dashti, a Baloch man from Sarbaz city. His current condition remain unknown.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, March 7, 2024, Shoaib Dashti, a 28-year-old resident of Kanarak city in Sistan and Baluchistan province, was apprehended by Iranian Intelligence forces without a warrant. He was initially detained at Chabahar Prison and later transferred to Zahedan Central Prison.

Despite 100 days having passed since his arrest, no information regarding his custody conditions has been provided. Efforts by his family to obtain updates have been unsuccessful, according to Haalvsh.

Shoaib Dashti was arrested along with two Pakistani passengers while traveling from Shiraz to Chabahar.
