One Baloch civilian killed, another injured and arrested after security forces open fire on vehicle in Sarbaz

Security forces opened fire on a Toyota pickup truck in Sarbaz County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, killing one Baloch civilian and severely injuring another, who was later arrested while receiving medical treatment.
According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, July 28, 2025, a 19-year-old from Iranshahr, identified by his last name “Damani,” was shot dead when security forces targeted his vehicle at the entrance to Kalat, the capital of Sarbaz County.
The passenger, 22-year-old Ahmad Hamli from the village of Dez in Sarbaz County, sustained serious gunshot wounds during the incident. He was subsequently taken to Kalat Clinic, where he is currently under heavy police guard.
The Haalvsh news outlet reported that the security forces fired at the vehicle without issuing any warning or signal to stop. Multiple bullets struck the driver, resulting in his immediate death, while the injured passenger was arrested shortly after being hospitalized.
