Five Balochs, including a minor, arrested in Kerman; Fate remains unknown

Five Balochs from Jazmourian in Kerman Province—Shahram Bamari, Daniel Heydarzehi, Mehran Bamari, Peyman Bamari, and Mohammad Heydarzehi—have been arrested by Iranian security forces. Their whereabouts and legal status remain unknown.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the five individuals—Bamari (17), Heydarzehi (19), Bamari (20), Bamari (22), and Heydarzehi (24)—were detained six days ago.

As reported by Haalvsh, the arrests occurred at approximately 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Pang checkpoint in Jazmourian. The individuals were en route to welcome back a caravan of returning Hajj pilgrims when they were stopped and taken into custody by security forces.

No official information has been released regarding the reasons for their arrest, the charges against them, or their current place of detention. Authorities have remained silent on the matter.
