A young Kolbar named Ebrahim Ebrahimi from Sardasht, West Azerbaijan (Urmia) province, was seriously wounded by direct fire from the Iranian Border Guards.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, June 30, 2024, Ebrahim Ebrahimi, a 27-year-old Kolbar from the village of Pashbard and a resident of Nalas district of Sardasht, was shot by Iranian border guards.
Ebrahimi was severely injured in the leg area at the Kani Zard border area of Sardasht. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to medical centers in the city for treatment.
