Four Kurdish Teachers Union Activists Sentenced to prison by Iranian Judiciary

Tahsin Mustafa, Sivan Soleimani, Aram Ghaderi, and Aram Mohammadi, four Kurdish teachers' union activists from Marivan in the Kurdistan (Sanandaj) province, have been sentenced to a cumulative 16 months in prison by the Iranian Judiciary.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Tahsin Mustafa, Sivan Soleimani, Aram Ghaderi, and Aram Mohammadi, teachers from Marivan, have each been sentenced to four months in prison by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court in Marivan, presided over by Ehsan Rouhi Chianeh, on charges of "propaganda against the government."
These teachers are accused of supporting the “Women, Life, Freedom” movement, advocating for the implementation of Articles 30 and 15 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which call for "free education and education in the mother tongue," and participating in teachers' protest gatherings.
Source of Hengaw indicated that the prison sentences of Tahsin Mustafa, Sivan Soleimani, Aram Ghaderi, and Aram Mohammadi have been suspended for a minimum of two years.
