Dehgolan: Kurdish Man Summoned Arrested by Iranian Security Agencies

A Kurdish man identified as Mahyar Karami was summoned and subsequently arrested in Dehgolan after submitting to the Iranian Intelligence Office and has been transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, July 18, 2024, Mahyar Karami from the village of "Qorochay" in the suburbs of Dehgolan, was arrested after being summoned and reporting to the Iranian Intelligence Office of the city and was transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to informed sources, the family's efforts to obtain information regarding his fate have so far been unsuccessful.
