Kurdish Kolbar was killed by Direct Fire from Iranian Border Guards on the Borders of Baneh

A Kolber from Sardasht, named Asad Espandar, was killed by direct fire from the Iranian Border Guards on the Borders of Baneh.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the early hours of Friday, August 30, 2024, Asad Aspandar, 24 years old and from the village of "Qolesevir" in Sardasht County, West Azerbaijan (Urmia) province, was shot by the Iranian Border Guards on the Alvatan border area of Baneh after these forces opened fire on a group of Kolbars. 

According to Hengaw’s sources, Asad Espandar was shot in the chest by these forces and lost his life. 

His body, which was transferred to Salahuddin Ayubi Hospital in Baneh, is now being transferred to his hometown, Sardasht.
