Khash: A Baloch Citizen Killed by Direct Fire from Government Forces

A Baloch citizen identified as Taher Jamalzahi was killed by direct gunfire from government forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Khash, a city in Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, Taher Jamalzahi, approximately fifty years old and a resident of Khash, was killed by direct gunfire from the military forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to informed sources, Taher Jamalzahi, a married man and father of two, was from and resided in the city of Khash.
As reported by the Haal Vash news agency, officers from the Anti-Narcotics Task Force, while chasing a vehicle in the village of Tohidabad in the Gerenjin area of Khash County, fired shots at the vehicle. As a result, a roadside vendor named Mr. Jamalzahi was hit by the bullets and lost his life.
