Golshan— Baloch Sukhtbar Killed in IRGC landmine explosion

A Baloch Sukhtbar (fuel carrier) was killed after his motorcycle struck a landmine planted by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan. 

According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the victim, Ahmad Rigi, a resident of Khash, died on Sunday, August 17, when the mine exploded in the Kalgan border area of Golshan County. 

Sources told Hengaw that Rigi was traveling on a motorcycle when the blast occurred. 

The Kalgan region and its side routes have repeatedly witnessed deadly incidents caused by landmines either left behind or newly deployed by IRGC forces.
