Iranian Security Forces Arrest Two Baloch Brothers

Two Baloch brothers, Hanif Jadgal and Sharif Jadgal, were arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Chabahar, and their current whereabouts remain unknown.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, August 21, 2024, forces from the Iranian Intelligence Department arrested 23-year-old Hanif Jadgal and his 19-year-old brother, Sharif Jadgal, at their family home in Kurkach village, located in the district of Chabahar city, Sistan and Balochistan province.

During the arrest, the security forces conducted a search of the brothers' home without presenting a judicial warrant.

Despite four days having passed since the arrest of Hanif and Sharif Jadgal, the family's persistent efforts to obtain any information from security agencies about the brothers' whereabouts have been fruitless.
