Two Balochs, Including a Child, Killed by Direct Fire from Iranian State Forces

Two Baloch individuals, identified as Faramarz Shahnavazi from Khash and Mohammad Sasouli, a 16-year-old from Hirmand, Sistan and Baluchistan province, have lost their lives as a result of direct gunfire from the Islamic Republic of Iran’s military forces.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, September 29, 2024, Faramarz Shahnavazi, a 23-year-old father of two from the village of Azadabad in the Khash district, was fatally shot by state security forces.
In a separate incident, 16-year-old Mohammad Sasouli, from the border village of Sasouli in Hirmand county, passed away in the hospital after nine days due to severe injuries caused by bullets fired by government forces.
According to the Haalvsh news outlet, officers from Police Station 119 in the Roteck area of Khash county ambushed and fired upon Shahnavazi’s vehicle without prior warning, resulting in his death. The officers initially left the scene but later returned to collect the spent bullet casings.
Mohammad Sasouli was shot on Saturday, September 21, while inspecting his family’s farmlands near the border wall. He was shot by border guards and subsequently transferred to the hospital, where he later passed away.
