Ahead of the second anniversary of the "Women, Life, Freedom" movement, fourteen union activists, and members of the Kurdistan Teachers' Union, Sanandaj branch, have been summoned by the Iranian security institutions.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the Public and Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office, along with the Iranian security forces in Sanandaj, have summoned Fatemeh Zandkarimi, Nasrin Karimi, Salah Hajimirzaei, Faisal Nouri, Majid Karimi, Reza Tahmasbi, Shahriar Naderi, Behzad Ghavami, Mohammadreza Moradi, Aram Ebrahimi, Sadegh Kanani, Rezgâr Heydari, Qiyas Nemati, and Kourosh Ezzati Amini, all of whom are union activists in the city.

These Kurdish activists have been summoned on charges including "propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran, disruption of public order, and assembly and collusion against national security."

According to the summons received by these union activists, a copy of which was obtained by Hengaw, they are required to appear before judicial and security authorities at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, one day before the second anniversary of the state-sponsored murder of Jina Amini.

It is worth mentioning that, in the early months of the "Women, Life, Freedom" movement, a significant number of teachers in Kurdistan were arrested, summoned, and faced judicial verdicts for supporting the public protests.
