Iran Arrests Baha'i Adherent Negar Misaghian in Shiraz

Negar Misaghian, a Baha'i adherent residing in Shiraz, was arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and transferred to the Shiraz Intelligence Detention Center, known as Detention Center No. 100.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, Intelligence officers raided her home without presenting a search warrant and arrested her. Negar Misaghian was subsequently taken to the security agency's detention center.

Sources informed Hengaw that during the arrest, security forces searched her home and confiscated several personal belongings, including her mobile phone, laptop, and passport.
