Femicide: Mansureh Ghadiri Javid, IRNA Journalist, killed by her husband in Tehran

Mansureh Ghadiri Javid, a journalist in the research division of the state-run IRNA news agency, was killed by her husband in Tehran, who allegedly used a knife and blunt force. The perpetrator’s stated motive for the crime was "family disputes."
According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, November 9, 2024, Mansureh Ghadiri Javid was murdered in northern Tehran by her husband, who inflicted multiple stab wounds and struck her head with a blunt object (a dumbbell).
As reported by the government-affiliated Rokna website, the perpetrator, who is a lawyer currently in custody, admitted that he had been experiencing marital conflicts with his wife for several years and, during an argument the previous day, killed her.
