Uncertainty Surrounding 17-Year-Old Negar Dabbaghi's case in Tabriz Prison

Negar Dabbaghi, a 17-year-old from Tabriz, has been arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and transferred to Tabriz Central Prison. She has spent the past two weeks in detention without resolution of her case.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Negar Dabbaghi was arrested on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, and subsequently transferred to Tabriz Central Prison.
Based on documents provided to Hengaw, her arrest followed a summons to court initiated by Branch 10 of the Tabriz Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office.
The charges against this teenager include "inciting the public to commit acts against internal and external security, insulting Islam, propaganda against the state, and insulting Khamenei and Khomeini."
It is noteworthy that these accusations are reportedly based on coerced confessions obtained by interrogators and content retrieved from her mobile phone.
